EPIC STORY TIME! Due to timing and circumstances, things were very hectic the morning of the photoshoot. I spent some time making the jacket and because of time constraints, ended up burning my fingers in multiple places on my hands. I decided to pull one off and it took two layers of skin with it. It's still a huge, gaping hole that's infected.
After several attempts to find a ride to a different location for the shoot and having all fall through, I was rushed out of the shower and to the designated meet up place and it was after arriving that I realized several things didn't make the journey with me -- mainly my newly ironed Izaya shirt, hanging up in the kitchen. Our car also decided to eat my socks, for whatever reason. Walking around in military boots caused me several blisters that have yet to heal.
I spent almost two hours in our car, prepping for the photoshoot -- contacts, make up, wig styling, etc. By the time I was fully ready to go, we had under an hour to do the shoot. Being really pumped up, I believe that Izaya's character came through in almost every shot we took. I was really proud of how the photographs turned out, even if the shirt ended up being one I threw on from the trunk of my car. The skulls probably add to his personality and personal style.
