I wanted to do a light novel group to Anime Boston, so I spent hours of researching, comparing and contrasting the light novel and the manga. I decided to make the laced up shirt Izaya wears in the light novels and the jacket he was wearing on one of the dvd covers, hence the red fur. The rest of the group stuck to the light novel versions, where Shizuo wears a red belt and red bow tie, Namie wears a blue skirt and Celty is the same. I was really happy with the way our group turned out.
