For instance, in Pre-Shippuden, there were instances where Sasuke went out of his way to help Naruto, when he didn't need to. He shared his lunch with him, when he was told he was forbidden. He threw his life aside in Mist Country, to protect Naruto subconsciously and without regrets. Naruto didn't even see Sasuke as a friend until after that point. If that wasn't the beginning of SasuNaru, then I don't know what was.
Also, it's only natural that with Sasuke suddenly removed from the equation, Naruto would start to notice what was there in front of him and what he never noticed, or took advantage of. All that time only turned what ifs into longing, into the point of obsession. It's not strange that his thoughts were obsessively about Sasuke in Shippuden and that their first reunion would have such a total emotional impact for him. Sure, by this point, Sasuke has emotionally detached himself from the world, but this is why NaruSasu has become the focus.
There is proof in both sides to the relationship. It was Sasuke that first acted on the impulses and it was Naruto who was left with the consuming thoughts and desires through the years.
There was ANOTHER 'accidental' kiss in the newest filler episode, well actually it was more like a smash of the lips xD but it was really funny.
Then after, Sasuke said something like, "Why does it always have to be with you!!??" after they kissed. LOL really funny.
They fought together and even peed together,lol. <3 That was like the funniest part of that filler.
I also like that when Naruto was all gung-ho to find Sakura and failed, Sasuke was there to kick the bad guys ass, as usual and Naruto didn't thank him and Sasuke didn't expect him to. That's friendship. ♥
I was just about to quote that too. It was the most memorable line from the episode. I laughed. It was really great. If there were more episodes like that, I wouldn't mind watching them.
