This is an old Death Note cosplay photo I took from 2007 and spiffed up for Spirit Day. I had met Jabi when she was cosplaying Matt and she was to be the Matt to my Mello. I had determined it from the start. There were a few inconveniences and roller coasters in the beginning, but we got through it, forged an eternal bond in the process and are still together now. That is what truly matters.
I believe that bonds of love, no matter what the definition, are eternal, memorable and the most beautiful things one can ever hope to find on Earth. Everyone deserves love, to find love and to be loved for who they are - regardless of age, gender, race, religion, political view and everything in between.
Love is not only worth fighting for, it is worth living for. It can sustain a person and it can make them drown. It is a double edged sword that must be tended to carefully. Once obtained, it can be what dreams are made of, or what nightmares are born from.
"It's better to have loved and lost, than to have never have loved at all."
It's a true statement. No one wants to experience loss, so it's better to appreciate the good and not dwell on the bad.
As long as two individuals treat each other with respect, trust and have open communication networks, nothing should keep them down, apart or get in the way.
This is to those who needed love, who had love, who lost love or to who are still looking for it. Never give up hope, on your dreams, or on yourself. You can make a difference, just by being you.
Like the atmosphere of the photo very much - for some reason it feels very cosy and warm. The heart in the middle is adorable aswell. What I don't like (don't kill!) is the white frame(ish) thingy you added - a frame in itself is a good idea, but this one just doesn't work for me.
I'm glad you like the photograph and the heart. I was worried the heart wasn't exactly round, but then again, artistic license? I don't know.
It's okay not to like the border. When I was staring at the photograph, something just seemed to be missing. Instead of going for the professional black or white box, I decided to try my hand at a doily-look to it. Guess it didn't really work out. Ah well, experimentation.
The heart looks good as it is - if it was perfectly round it wouldn't really work as good (never was the one to enjoy perfection).
Black or white box isn't something I had in mind - rather experimenting with Photoshop brushes I suppose? Also, I was wondering if black+violet (is that the good color name for what I have in mind, I wonder) wouldn't work better instead of white.
I confess I'm not very good with brushes. I've never really experimented with them yet. The idea sounds good though. I'll have to make time to see what I can learn for the future.

At least the photograph in itself was liked.
